The Inkwazi Mortgage Collateral Guarantee has been designed to help applicants get bonds approved so that they can buy their own homes. Inkwazi Eco Projects has recognised that many South African consumers have become credit impaired over the years. In many instances this is because of credit providers over-extending expensive credit resulting in consumers getting credit impaired with “bad credit”. The objective of the insurance is to help potential buyers who have completed the online application to get an approval and enable them to buy their own home. The cost of this insurance is included in the price of the home.

The insurance covers 12 months bond instalments if the client is unable to pay their bond instalment. The insurance enables the consumer to keep their home if they run into problems while providing them the time to resolve their problem and get the instalments up to date.
